That plant is toxic in case of overdose Hardy perennial from 0,20 to 0,40 m which grows in pastures between 500 and 2500 m of which one uses roots, flowers and leaves. Arnica is especially used to care hematoma contusions in external use. Also : Whooping-cough, spasms, nicotinism. Tincture : Crush 100 g of dried arnica flowers (or 1 liter of fresh flowers) in one liter of acohol 40%. Let macerate 15 days in a sunny place. Filter and preserve in tinted bottles. In external use to care wrenches hematoma rheumatisms pains. Decoction for compress on contusions, 2 spoonfulls for 1 liter of water, boil 15 minutes.
