Hardy perennial from 0,50 to 1 m of which one uses the roots.
Madder (root) is diuretic and anti-inflammatory used for renal lithiases, nephritides, cystitides and against rheumatisms. Also : Constipation, facilitates the childbirth. Décoction : 10 g for one liter of water ; 2 cups a day.
