Hardy perennial of the mountains and pastures until 2000 m of 0,30 to 1 m height of which one uses leaves and rhizome.
Masterwort is useful in case of difficult digestion, colics, also in case of bronchitis for its pectoral action. Infusion : One spoonful for one boiling cup of water ; one cup after each meal. Inhalation; 1 handful of rhizome for 1/2 liter of boiling water, several time a day with a towel on the head.
